Knowing and understanding human rights

Which rights are human rights? Are these rights universal? Which obligations result from the human rights? This workshop deals with basic knowledge about human rights, the development, function and impact of these rights. Participants get an overview about the articles of the human rights convention, their application and important web-links for a further confrontation with this topic. The goal of this workshop is to make it easier for the participants to advocate for their own rights and the rights of others.
