Counselling
The organisation Servicestelle der Grundversorgung Wien is your first point of call if you receive basic services (Grundversorgung) and are in private accommodation. In addition, there is a comprehensive range of counselling services available to asylum seekers in Vienna. The allocation to the general social counselling depends on your residential address. In addition, there are some counselling centres for special concerns.
Grundversorgung Wien/Asylzentrum
The services offered by the service office of the Asylzentrum includes:
- Payment of rent and meals allowance
- Monetary payments and payments in kind for school and clothing
- Medical insurance and medical services
- Information, counselling, support
- Travel costs for official summons and transfers
- Housing in a basic services (Grundversorgung) facility of the Fonds Soziales Wien (FSW)
