Woman power in the workshop - Learning craft work for ambitious women

No age limits, no national boundaries: From the end of July onwards, the association Craftistas is offering regular workshops under the motto "Do IT - RepairWERKstatt", in which ambitious women with a refugee or migrant background have the opportunity to work together with women who have lived in Vienna and learn craft work. At the same time, they receive support for necessary repairs, maintenance work and the furnishing and design of their own four walls.

The fun of doing things together will be standing in the foreground. Additonally the participants can improve their own German skills, they will also save money and their quality of life will increase.

Craftistas is an initiative of women with competence in different fields of technical and craft work, committed to gender equality in everyday life and social and professional participation of girls and women in all professional and working fields.

More information and the dates of the "Do IT - RepairWERKstatt" can be found here.

As part of the CORE project, this project receives a grant from the Vienna Social Fund and the European Regional Development Fund through the Urban Innovative Actions Initiative.
