Project "Mädchenraum" - German / Arabic

Exchange for girls between 14 and 17 years

The project "Mädchenraum" is aimed at all girls between the ages of 14 and 17 who speak German and Arabic and want to spend their free time together with other young people. It does not matter if they live in Vienna for a short time, longer or since their birth. The project aims to be approchable for young women in vienna with different living environments and arise personal contacts and friendships between "new" and "old" Viennese. The project gives the participants a secure space and a framework for meetings and exchanges and, on the other hand, the possibility to get to know the city of Vienna and use its offer through excursions, workshops and activities.

Two trainers, who speak German and Arabic, supervise the weekly meetings within the project and develop the contents and activities together with the participants.
At the same time they are available as contact persons for the parents or guardians of the girls.
