Austria's healthcare system – Overview of the most important facilities and health services

The module conveys information about the healthcare system: services of the medical insurance, E-Card, registered doctors in private practice, outpatient and in-patient care. A focus is on promoting health and preventing illness (check-ups, vaccinations, conduct in emergencies and emergency numbers).

On the topic of pregnancy, there is information about the Mother-Child Pass, maternity leave, maternity benefit, birth and important administrative procedures, family counselling organisations.
